GM CT🫶🏾 I was going to write about Covenant, a utility system I and @somto_david_ are building on Arc. However while talking with a friend, he said he didn’t understand the difference between what Arc is building and USD Coin by Circle. So I broke it down like this: USDC is just digital dollars. It already exists and can move across different blockchains, but on its own, it doesn’t define how it’s used,it’s just the money. Arc on the other hand is building a whole environment where that same USDC can be used in a smoother, more native way. Think faster interactions, better user experience, and possibly no need to worry about gas in the usual complicated way. We can see it this way. Imagine you have cash in your pocket, that’s USDC. You can take it anywhere, but every place you go has its own rules, different fees, different speeds, different stress. Now imagine walking into a well-built ecosystem like a modern banking app or fintech platform. Your money is still the same, but everything feels seamless, transfers are instant, fees are optimized, and you don’t have to think too much. That’s what Arc is trying to do with USDC.
