@GeorgeRSimms Females get their own space and sports rights. The men can play with men or mixed categories where men and women are teams. You dont get to determine what women need. The men can play with other men

@Rrrrooster @martynziegler I’m saying because the main format is open there is no need for the other one. If the women’s only tournaments exist because no woman has won a major event why not add even more categories for other people who haven’t won it either

@iam_willyoung @AlecDragonKing @martynziegler That’s fine if that were the case, but this is an example of statistical proof that men have an advantage. Their height, further arm reach, and throwing power gives them an advantage that excludes women. Hence the sex segregated dart leagues.

@leamingtonpete @martynziegler That’s kind of my point, it’s already basically there as the world championship and major tournaments are open. But then there are female only competitions, and very few if any at all male only competitions.

@iam_willyoung @martynziegler Because there are so many men playing Darts in comparison to women. The 'mens' tournaments are open and genderless, but you see very few women getting to the latter stages. One day that might change.

@iam_willyoung @martynziegler Apparently, there are. The top ten darts players in the world are men. In the top 1000, there are probably two to maybe five women. The results do point to a significant performance gap.
