Scarred For Life Hall of Famer HARTLEY HARE, operated and voiced by the great Nigel Plaskitt, was the undoubted star of ITV kid's show Pipkins (1973). He was vain, arrogant, conceited, and looked like he'd had a brush with myxomatosis. I adore him.

At our club presentation I was awarded a gold standard for 5k (22:41) and HM (1:40:23) for age category (FV45-49) for races I did in 2025. Loving running at the moment so hopefully more achievements to come! 🏃🏼♀️That’s Peter Elliott who won silver in 1500m at the 1988 Olympics

@1968Tv I got back from school and asked my dad if the England France match had started and he said “not yet it’s just about to” I put my school bag down walked into the room and it was already 1-nil !

The 1982 World Cup was fantastic and brings back so many great memories, as a 15 year old, I would run home from school and get in just in time to make the 4:15pm kick offs, Bryan Robson’s early goal for England against France will live long in the memory, but so will one of the greatest World Cup games of all time, the great Italy 3-2 Brazil game.
One amazing World Cup, and one amazing game.

Happiness, frustration, sadness, repeat! The emotional rollercoaster athletes go through when learning of performance upgrades via others not confirming with the rules. I’ve been there many times & hoped my athletes wouldn’t have to too. Congrats on the silver medal 🥈 Georgia 🎉

Georgia Hunter Bell will now almost certainly be upgraded to silver in the 1500m at last year's World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing. This is after Diribe Welteji, who finished second in that race, was disqualified after failing to provide a sample on February 25, 2025. Hunter Bell is the British 1500m record-holder (3:52.61) and also has an Olympic 1500m bronze, European 1500m silver and world 800m silver to her name.

We thought Jerry would be home by now after his heart valve replacement surgery but sadly he has suffered 2 small strokes, the first one just 3 days after surgery. He was doing so well but he suffered another stroke yesterday.
I'm reaching out to the aviation community to help us get him through this. We need our Jerry back.

I haven’t been this excited since God knows when. I can not state how outstanding this run is .. and it’s just shy of her outdoor UK record. The outdoor World Record is on borrowed time. 1m53.28s from 1983. I can’t wait for it to be smashed to bits.

Last night at the theatre my friend asked for a shot of vodka with ice. She rarely drinks. The bartender said it was against the Law to have it without a mixer. He ruined her drink with a big measure of cranberry juice. Is this now Law? First I’ve heard of it.

I was the fastest woman in the World in 2001 (400m) then injured my achilles.
I decided to end my season & miss the World Championships as there was a high chance I would rupture the whole tendon. 🥹
If it was an Olympic year? .. This decision would have been different.
