Not even bars in the city had it. You would think the fan zone would have an area to watch the game, but it is all sponsor booths and nothing else.

Más de 700 taronjas vivirán en Atenas la primera Final Four de nuestra historia 🧡 En la mañana del viernes, tres aviones chárter saldrán desde Manises con dirección a la capital helena con una parte importante de la expedición de aficionados del club. A ellos se les sumarán todos los aficionados que compraron su abono a través del club, además de todos aquellos que compraron el abono directamente a la competición. En total, más de 700 almas taronjas que vibrarán con el equipo en un fin de semana para la historia del club. La expedición procedente de los aviones llegará sobre medio día al centro de Atenas, a la zona del estadio olímpico de Kalimarmaro, donde podrán disfrutar del centro de la capital ateniense durante la hora de la comida. La zona está directamente conectada con la plaza principal de la ciudad, la Plaza Syntagma, así como con la Fan Zone de la Final Four, situada en el Palacio Zappeion. A media tarde, la expedición será trasladada en los mismos autobuses hasta las inmediaciones del Telekom Center Athens (OAKA) donde se disputará la gran cita. En las inmediaciones del OAKA, la organización ha habilitado puntos de encuentro para cada afición, dependiendo del tipo de abono comprado. Valencia Basket anima a cualquier aficionado del club que compró solo la entrada para el evento, a vivir juntos este momento taronja en la previa al partido, entendiendo que tendrán que desplazarse por sus propios medios. ¡Se acerca el debut de Valencia Basket en una Final Four!

With less than two weeks remaining until the start of the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens Presented by Etihad, all fans who have purchased tickets will have to complete the mandatory registration process required to access the event on May 22 and 24.  In accordance with Greek legislation, all ticket holders will be required to provide their full personal information in order to gain access to the Telekom Arena.  As part of EuroLeague’s commitment to delivering the best possible fan experience, once supporters complete the registration process and indicate their preferred team, final seat allocation will be completed to ensure an equal distribution of fans from each participating team throughout the arena.  Starting on May 11, all ticket buyers must log in using their EuroLeague ID account, following the same process used during the initial ticket purchase,  and complete the required form with their personal information and preferred team selection.  The registration platform will remain open until May 17 at 23:59CEST (00:59 local Greek time). This will also represent the final opportunity for ticket buyers to modify personal information, including changing the designated attendee for the event. Ticket holders will be able to download their personalized nominal tickets starting on May 20 at 10:00 CEST (11:00 Greek time) following the closure of the registration period.  VIP ticket buyers will be able to complete the registration process from May 11 until May 19 at 23:59 CEST (00:59 local Greek time). Nominal VIP tickets will be available for download from May 20 at 10:00 CEST (11:00 Greek time)   Please note that no changes to the regular ticket holder’s identity will be permitted after May 17 at 23:59 CEST (00:59 local Greek time), nor will VIP identity modifications be allowed after May 19 at 23:59 CEST (00:59 local Greek time).  Entry to the Telekom Arena will only be granted upon presentation of:  •A valid nominal ticket; and   •An official identification document matching the information submitted during registration.   Fans presenting a ticket that does not correspond to the attending individual will be denied entry to the arena as per Greek legislation.

Y duerme perfectamente bien por la noche. La diferencia no es el dinero. Es el modelo. En Estados Unidos te venden el sueño de acumular. En España viven el presente sin disculparse por ello. La sanidad no te arruina. El despido no te deja en la calle sin red. Las vacaciones no son un privilegio que te ganas: son un derecho que nadie te discute. ¿Ganas menos? Sí. ¿Tienes menos? Depende de cómo midas. Porque si mides en horas de sueño, en almuerzos tranquilos, en años de vida sin ansiedad crónica, en poder enfermarte sin que te llegue una factura de $40,000… entonces la pregunta no es por qué España gana menos. La pregunta es por qué seguimos midiendo todo en función al dinero y no en función a la calidad de vida que tienes.

@jordan120 @tunkuv The real problem with this is a lot of hotels won't have a room ready before 3pm, so napping is not always an option.

@tunkuv I don’t sleep on planes so I’ll take an earlier flight if at all possible and then nap a few hours in the am when I arrive.

The absolute essential rule to flying from New York to Europe-- if you want to arrive relatively refreshed-- is never to depart before 830 p.m.
