@RussNRoses @BornAgainMissy Firstly, the church does not teach you how to interpret the Bible, the holyspirit does that efficiently, if we truly understand how the holyspirit works, we won’t need a mortal adding and removing the validity of sins, like a jigsaw puzzle.

The Institution of the Church is more important than the Bible. Protestants like to make the argument that the Bible, because it's infallible, is better... But that's just nonsense. It's like arguing the tool of the craftsman who created it, say a hammer is more important than the craftsman. The hammer doesn't make mistakes & yet you can hurt yourself if you don't use it properly. The craftsman created the tool and knows how to use it best. Without the craftsman, the tool is just a lifeless object. In the same way, the Church gave us the Bible and knows how to interpret it properly. Without the Church, the Bible loses its full meaning and purpose. It's just a dusty book that doesn't do anything absent a mind reads & interprets it. The Church is essential because it not only brought the Bible into existence but also ensures it is used correctly to guide us in faith. Essentially, Catholics use the Bible with an instruction manual of history, tradition & detailed experience over thousands of years to know how to use it. while Protestant just try to do it themselves arbitrarily & hope it works out.
