@KevinblakC You have eventually attacked Sowore directly and accusing him of attacking popular candidates people like and make him lose elections. In this case Obi and now your Otti. You don’t think people like others he has attacked in the past like Seyi and BAT? You are still tribalistic.

It’s insanity for anybody to say the Ibadan of Ogunmola or Latoosa was not an Oyo city state. I have seen certain hate driven people say this nonsense because they want to push “Oyophobia”. People like us don’t care anymore and we will assert our identity without bowing to hate merchants. I am Ibadan and we are Oyos, no apologies to anybody for that till eternity. Your lame and disjointed excuse to hide under cosmopolitanism to deny the Oyo heritage of Ibadan post Maye era is not just insultive but a total insult to my ancestors. All Oyo city states like Ilorin, Ede, Ogbomosho etc are all cosmopolitan. In Abeokuta we have Egbas, Owus and Oyos yet they are under the Egba commonwealth and identity, so if Abeokuta is Egba despite the presence of other Yoruba groups, why are people like you telling we Ibadan indigenes to stop calling ourselves Oyo? Who are you to question our heritage and identity? Only fools with no knowledge of history will allow hate driven mischievous elements start creating another Yoruba tribe called Ibadan in 2026. We are Ibadan and we belong to the Oyo tribe/bloc within the Yoruba commonwealth and we are proud of our Oyo roots/ancestry and Ife heritage.

@AKakanfo U put too much emotion in an intellectual discuss. There is no fact that I have ever put forward that u addressed directly & debunked, just accusations. B4 digressing into ur questions, at the very least, as a duty, address whether or not the facts I put forward are true or false

@DamilolAdeyem1 @iamdamified @OneSodiqAlabii Even if Azikiwe said that, that doesn't still make him a tribalist. Communism and Christian supremacism are ideologies, not tribes. Ideological disputes are normal in democracies all over the world. What is not normal is the tribal hate-mongering which Awo embraced and promoted

@Manuwel15 @DamilolAdeyem1 @OneSodiqAlabii You are clever as I indicated earlier. I am responding for the sake of my people who can be easily swayed. You packaged religious supremacy as fair ideology because it’s Eastern strength but demonized Yoruba conservatism but Azikiwe started a union to promote it, doubleedgesword

My dear fellow Nigerians, Today, as I clock another year in the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration. To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for air time on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely. I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me. Consistent with my tradition over the years to mark my birthday in line with the mood of the nation each year, I resolved to also observe this year's birthday low key. As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we've faced since we initiated our reforms. I'm glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by ongoing Middle East crisis. The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me, our Renewed Hope team and to our government. We achieved the gains together. As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future for our citizens and future generations. We are determined to confront some of the challenges we face today, and with your continued support, we shall overcome. Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, prosperous and more resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa. Thank you all, and happy 74th birthday to me! Bola Ahmed Tinubu President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

@iamdamified @Manuwel15 @OneSodiqAlabii There's no point engaging these people in an intellectual discussion. From the thread you'd C how he deviated but i lik how you brought back because how is "Hausa being a mayor in the East" and an Igbo being a premier in the west" in the context? and dat's nationalism? How ?

@Manuwel15 @OneSodiqAlabii You can’t be this clever with a civilization that is more than you. What did he champion for a Yoruba man in the east? And why should he get the leadership of the west and not the north he championed as mayor in Enugu? You see how pennywise you are and think others are foolish?

@iamdamified @OneSodiqAlabii This is exactly the mindset Awolowo had which he used to poison Nigerian politics. Azikiwe was a true nationalist who championed the election of a Fulani Muslim as Mayor of Enugu. But Awo, due to his irrational fear, jealousy and hatred for Azikiwe started to spread lies.

@Tochukw19493997 @OneSodiqAlabii The only reason we can’t today, was because other leaders from elsewhere in his time were either shortsighted, lack foresight, greedy, feudal and will rather vote a primary school low experienced teacher from anywhere than a lawyer who has proven his worth from the west.
