Hello @LCFC I’m Olaogun, a winger also played as a striker from Nigeria. I’ve spent the last 3 years training daily to get one shot at professional football. I’m not asking for a contract. I’m asking for 7 days on trial to show you what I can do. If I’m not good enough, I’ll walk away with no hard feelings. I’m fast, direct, and I work harder than anyone on the pitch. My highlights are here: @Olaogun9" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@Olaogun9 Thanks, Olaogun |

We can confirm that 10 Men’s First Team players will depart upon the expiration of their contracts this summer. We would like to thank all those leaving us for their contributions during their time on Filbert Way, and wish them the very best for the future.

Three men lost their lives on Monday protecting their community. Amin Abdullah, the security guard and father of 8, stood in front of the gunmen so 140 children could hide. Mansour Kaziha, a pillar of the mosque for nearly 40 years, called 911. Nader Awad ran toward the danger to draw the shooters away. They were fathers, husbands, pillars of their mosque. They chose others over themselves. Our hearts are with their families and the entire Muslim community of San Diego. Islamophobia kills. This is not a debate. It’s reality. 🤍 Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn

My first wife married me when I had absolutely no source of income. We decided to marry early to avoid zina due to my high libido. I was honest with her from the beginning about my financial situation, but she insisted we get married anyway. After the Nikkah, she moved into my parents' house in Oyo State, while I relocated to Ogijo, Ogun State, to hustle. I saved some money for a year from where I was working at the MRI Metal Recycling Industry located in Ogijo, Ogun State. During my hustling time, my wife came to where I was renting to spend a week with me. From there, she got pregnant for me. Afterward, I moved back to Oyo State completely and started fishery business. The first fish I reared, I couldn’t see my capital, let alone gain. Depression filled me, but my wife always gave me joy with her comforting words. A friend of mine who passed away—his name was Yunusa—was the one who dashed me N1million to start my business again. Today, I am the owner of plenty of ponds with workers. May Allah bless all the good wives who married their husbands when they had nothing.🙏🏼🙏🏼

My Dear Sister-in-Islam, When the chest is exposed but the head is covered, it is not Ḥijāb. When the head is covered but the body is wrapped in tight-fitted clothing that seductively reveals the shape of the body, it is not Ḥijāb. When the hair is concealed but beauty, adornment and attraction are deliberately displayed for attention, it is not Ḥijāb. When the garment itself becomes a means of showing off, competing for attention and seeking admiration, it departs from the spirit of Ḥijāb. When modesty disappears from speech, conduct and interaction, cloth alone does not complete Ḥijāb. Ḥijāb is not merely a scarf on the head; it is modesty in dress, dignity in conduct, humility in movement and consciousness of Allāh in public and private. True Ḥijāb is a garment of faith, modesty and honour. When you adorn the Hijāb, do it properly, understand and observe its etiquettes so that Allah recognizes you as one of those who sincerely obey His command.

My brother I was just being economical with the figure and truth. We normally. see shege in Lagos construction. Once you bring in block and cement, everybody wants money. Lagos state officials, police, agbero, omonile, passerby, the community heads, even thieves want to steal your materials.

We have a project in Ketu, Mainland and another one in Badore, Ajah, Island. Both are at a stage we need granites. Cost per truck of 30 tons of granites to site: - Ketu: N500k - Ajah: N675k Same quantity, 35% price difference. Furious when both got to my table for approval, I bypassed the procurement/project team and called the suppliers themselves. Finding 1. There are no rocks in Lagos (I knew) so the Ketu supplier sources from a quarry in Abeokuta while the Ajah supplier sources from quarries in Ijebu. Ijebu is closer to Ajah while Abeokuta is closer to Ketu. 2. More significantly, they incure more "road settlement costs" on Ijebu-Ajah route than Abeokuta-Ketu, large part of which is express road. 3. The Ijebu-Ajah supplier also complained of diesel cost, as Ajah-Ijebu road is prone to traffic (= higher fuel need) than Abeokuta-Ketu. When we asked whether the Abeokuta/Ketu supplier can just supply to Ajah, he said he also cannot deliver for less than N650k. Not much difference to change supplier for. Now, if we need 15 trucks of granites for a simple 5-terrace house in Ketu and Ajah, we will spend N7.5m on granites for Ketu project and N10.13m for Ajah project. Same construction, same city, different cost for same material quantity.

@mayiogu @SirJarus There are some areas on the mainland I spend up to 100 thousand naira for road expenses and settlement before granite gets to the site.

@SirJarus Bringing any building material into lekki -Ajah area is a hassle. Not just traffic or fuel consumption. Have you meet Omo-Nile on the road, street, estate gate, even when you want to offload(asking for “owo”). For a 30ton at least 50k or more settlement.

At Berger, we pay 5500 for revenue tickets to different transport unions and state govt The attached tickets are for supply we made to Ikorodu few months ago. PS: i not trying to knock your supplier but 500k can not supply 30tons to Ketu . Diesel is 1800 per litre and 30tons truck will use 110litres. When you add profit to truck owner, driver wages and road taxes, it will be haulage cost to over 295k

@SirJarus @Official_Idreez These price are too low to the real costs of 30tons of granite from anywhere to anywhere in Lagos sir. There’s some shortchanging going on with the procurement process.
