The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Hon. Sam Nartey George has confirmed the arrest of Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Conduah over alleged offences involving child sexual abuse and the distribution of pornographic materials involving a minor. According to the minister, the suspect described as a self-styled international marriage counsellor was arrested 6th March 2026 through a joint operation by the Cyber Security Authority(CSA) and the Ghana Police Service. His arrest reportedly follows the discovery of evidence linking him to the abuse of a 17-year-old minor for at least four years, with the CSA uncovering recordings and online postings linked to international pornographic websites. In the aftermath of his arrest, the suspect was arraigned before a court and was remanded into custody for three weeks to allow for further investigations.
