@iamhuskey

I study human behavior and its relationship to physiology. It makes me happy because I am forever curious and because I value well-being in myself and others.

@ChristleNwora She might have meant the kind of doctor who doesn't listen to anyone's heart but spends hours writing papers for elites.

@ChardeeGalan REDCap is superior to Qualtrics in several ways, but it requires a steeper learning curve compared to Qualtrics. On of the biggest benefits of REDCap is it's capacity to do longitudinal data collection and simultaneously act as a HIPAA compliant data repository.

Has anyone used an online survey panel to validate a measure for adolescents? Any recommendations, other than Qualtrics?

BACK WHEN I WAS IN GRAD SCHOOL, ALL YOU NEEDED WAS REPEATED MEASURES ANOVA AND REGRESSION. ALL THESE FANCY MODELS ARE A CRUTCH TO COVER UP A LACK OF SIGNAL. HELL—YOU DESIGN YOUR STUDY RIGHT, ALL YOU *REALLY* NEED IS A T-TEST.

an american expression that i absolute don’t get is “it’s nothing personal. just business”. HOW DOES THIS MAKE IT BETTER? “hey man, just so you know, i would only abandon my moral principles for a really important reason like money.”
