The club has to raise revenue or sell players to comply with the settlement as any loss over 5 million euros will lead to another fine and or potential expulsion from Euro competitions. You don't have to like it but the club is under the cosh financially speaking

Every home cup game (working on an example here of 10 H cup games) adding on an extra £20 on to 35,000 tickets per game = £7m

At some point, senior Premier League execs have to offer a proper explanation in public for their leniency towards Chelsea. They owe an explanation to fans of clubs punished more harshly. They owe an explanation to those clubs who did abide by the rules. They have to offer some explanation as to why PSR breaches are deemed far more serious than acts of "deception and concealment". Yes, these are the offences of a previous regime at Chelsea. But inconsistencies run through the PL's defence and their reputation is damaged. They can’t hide from a controversy of this magnitude.

This decision is absolutely awful and I can't even believe Morocco would want the title this way. If they were going to make Senegal forefit the game, it should have been done during the match, not 58 days later! Makes AFCON look like a joke right now!
