Why do you think scripture says women are the weaker vessel? It isn’t just because they have smaller biceps. What are all women? EASILY deceived. This heavily implies their powers of discernment, wisdom, discretion, and understanding are stunted by nature of being women. Every women’s needs a man otherwise she literally and simply cannot survive.

What nonsense this is! In the Bible, Jael is shrewd; Abigail is wise; a woman saves her city from Joab; Deborah judges Israel well; the Proverbs 31 woman has great "wisdom." Some in the "patriarchy"/nationalist crowd are deeply anti-woman, and it is a stench in God's nostrils.

Bad news: your sin debt before a perfectly holy God is beyond anything you can ever pay. Good news: by faith in the blood of Christ, your debt is paid in full, and you are free.

When Tom Brady won his first Super Bowl in his second NFL season, he was the youngest starting QB to ever win a Super Bowl. When Tom Brady won his last Super Bowl in his second-to-last season, he was the oldest starting QB to ever win a Super Bowl. Greatness start-to-finish 🐐

For believers, the cup is not half-empty. Neither is the cup half-full. Instead, there is no end to the goodness of God in Christ; we are satisfied; we do not have words to give voice to the grace shown us by our Sovereign, so we say, quite simply: "My cup runneth over."

Every problem in the world boils down to sin. Economic. Political. Social. Familial. Personal. It’s all sin. You cannot abate sin with programs, education, or money. The only way to deal with sin is through a bloody cross. The only hope is Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

For Christians, love of neighbor does not mean obeying the commands of false worldviews (Matthew 22:34-39). For Christians, love of neighbor means you do what God commands, not what the world demands, and from that God-obeying stance, reach out to others in grace and truth.

Through many conversations with Christians around the world over the past eighteen months, it has become more apparent to me than ever that a living faith built upon a sound theology stabilizes God’s people, propelling them in loving service and giving them hope.
