@EmmaVitz I think the other point to consider, is that many rentals are absolute shitholes and you’re still paying top dollar. Landlords don’t care because they can get away with it. I’m appalled at what my kids are paying vs what they are living in.

It has been very interesting seeing the sentiment around property change. Finally people are starting to be interested in the amortisation schedule and not blindly assuming that buying is better than renting
