@da0shi Actually, there is no need. What I mean is once you `dayjs.extend(utc)` in one place, and all the rest of the `dayjs` are all have the UTC ability. That is to say, after that, while you do `import dayjs from 'dayjs'`, the `dayjs` contains UTC as well.

@iamkun88 I see. I used it on small node project that didn't configure well to share global variables, so that I needed to extend in each files and I got a bit tired. I agree it's a good decision to keep core file as small as possible especially for browser environment.

@da0shi Yes. dayjs is a global variable, that is to say, only `dayjs.extend(utc)` once, and use it everywhere in other files. I think it's reasonable compare to its tiny size.

@iamkun88 Oh, thanks for the reply! Yeah right, it supports UTC, but with `dayjs/plugin/utc` right? I expected to have it without using `dayjs.extend(utc)`.

@StephenNancekiv @webpack @luxonjs However, dayjs is only 6.5 kb un-zipped and without tree shaking😁. @1.8.36" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">bundlephobia.com/result?p=dayjs…

@webpack tree shaking is legit! @luxonjs vs dayjs vs date-fns. Without shaking date-fns is 5x bigger than dayjs. But for my site becomes way less.

@come25136_air Hi, we are going to implement timezone support for Day.js in the short term. Could you please tell us what kind of tz API do you need?

Did I mention how awesome the screen on the stage was for our presentation in Hangzhou? The crowd was great! We offered t-shirts and stickers for anyone who would ask a question. 🙂
