@sillyystupid i have a 6 year history of cutting and i havnt been to the ward once, i even went to the hospital for attempting suicide when i was 11 or 12 and they didnt do anything, the mental health system in vic is fucked

what even happens when you get caught cutting do they just throw u in the ward

@iammspidermann that's how one of mine looked and it was a black scab, so if you think it's that, don't try to peel that layer on it off and let it do its thing (keep it moist by washing daily n cover it with a bandaid still)

@iammspidermann i definitely thought the same when this first happened to me but unless it’s unusually red or itchy or has a distinctly gross odor you should be okay!!! it’s always good to just keep your eye on it and make sure you are taking care of it!!!

@iammspidermann It’s just the scab I’m pretty sure ^^, this happens to me a lot after I get out the shower, leave it on and it’ll turn back into the scab once it’s dried

@iammspidermann Yo I'm not entirely sure, but if it hurts/is sensitive to touch and if it smells a lil (if u can find a way to take a snifferoo..) Then it prolly is.... I heard keeping it clean and moist helps with recovery take care!!!! 🥹🥹
