I ignored his call for 3 days. Not because I was busy… I just didn’t feel like talking. On the 4th day, I finally picked up. He didn’t sound like himself. The way Nigerians bastardize Care Work in the UK 🇬🇧 makes me wonder if classism was transported there too. During my last visit, a friend of mine was so ashamed to open up that he does Care Work. I was really pissed off. As a CARER or HCA, you are a core part of the MDT just as the Nurse or Doctor.
