The school I served at showed me shege pro max. I was always falling ill because of the 9k they wouldn’t even pay on time. I tried to leave, but the woman refused to let me go. The stress was too much. There was one particular teacher there at the time, Uncle Femi. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and is an exceptionally brilliant man. He taught Mathematics, Physics, and Further Mathematics from JSS1 to SS3. This man truly suffered, I swear. One day, he arrived at school late around 8:30 a.m. The principal was already issuing him a query, but he couldn’t defend himself. After the incident, I asked why he had come late and why his shoes were so dusty. He explained that he treks to school every day. On a normal day, he leaves home around 6:00 a.m. to arrive by 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. a two hour journey. One day, the English teacher resigned, and the school desperately needed a replacement. They approached Uncle Femi and asked if he could teach English too, promising to add something extra to his salary. That’s 4 subjects in total. Guess how much they were paying him for those 4 subjects? Just guess😃
