I fought for students to go to school and learn. Not for them to sit silently in a room for hours taking tests.

In 1820 the illiteracy rate was 88%. In 2014 it was 15%. So.....

Want to learn? Then go check out William H. McGuffey's educational textbooks. They are really good books that teach you home lasting lessons in morality, patriotism, and idealism.

Just so all you wealthy folks know if you don't help fund public schools than those uneducated kids will grow up to be dangerous, ignorant rabble people that are armed with a vote. So remember funding public schools = stability and democracy
