With investor interest in agro-processing growing, could the Industrial Platform Remo (IPR) be the catalyst that transforms Ogun State into a leading agro-industrial hub?

Ogun State Governor on Thursday conducted an on-site inspection of the Special Agro-Processing Zone at Industrial Platform Remo (IPR), reinforcing the government’s dedication to establishing an integrated industrial corridor to stimulate economic growth.

Do you think projects like this can significantly improve rural development and farmers’ livelihoods in Ogun State?

Community leaders praised the reconstruction of the Iworo-Ogbogbo-Igbeba Road, noting that it will enhance transportation, support farmers, and strengthen local commerce.

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has commissioned the 5.2-kilometre Iworo-Ogbogbo-Igbeba Road in Ijebu North-East, describing it as a vital link that will ease access to farmlands, improve connectivity, and boost economic activities in the area.

Governor Dapo Abiodun reiterated that the project reflects his administration’s focus on durable infrastructure that supports commerce and connectivity across the state. Do you think this road upgrade will significantly boost economic activities in the Agbara–Lusada–Atan axis?

The government says the Federal Government’s takeover of the Sokoto–Badagry Highway section covering this stretch further strengthens prospects for sustained infrastructure development.

Phase Two of the Atan–Lusada–Agbara Road project is progressing steadily, with the Ogun State Government carrying out engineering adjustments to ensure the road can withstand heavy industrial traffic and long-term use.

The newly commissioned road Lantoro-Oke-Yidi Road serves as key institutions and is expected to ease transportation and stimulate local commerce. Do you think this level of infrastructure development will significantly impact economic activities in Ogun Central?

According to him, the projects were selected through consultations with traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community stakeholders, including the Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo.

can expect smoother, safer, and faster movement very soon. The road is also expected to improve access to homes, markets, schools, and businesses while strengthening connectivity within Abeokuta and boosting daily economic activities in the area.

The Elega–Miliki–Saje Junction Road is almost set for use as reconstruction work nears completion. With the project now about 95% done and asphalt laying almost fully completed, residents and commuters across Elega Estate, Saje, Bode Olude, Miliki, and nearby communities
