1. Whitestreet: Most houses on the street were painted white. I just named that project "Whitestreet" 2. Fortrose, Inverness, Paisley, and Dingwall are Scottish towns. I have some memory of Scotland being the first country I visited in Europe and my second most visited country. I decided to name those projects after less known Scottish towns (outside of the popular Big 4 of Scotland: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee) to generate curiosity. 3. Jumeirah: I once did jumuah prayers in a large mosque in Jumeirah, Dubai. There is a large mosque near the site of this project. It evoked memory of Jumeirah. I named the property Jumeirah. 4. Harrow: Offa came from the Yoruba word "Ofa", which means Arrow. Offa project named Harrow Court. 5. Bibire: "Being born well". An offtaker bought the project and got the naming right. They chose Bibire. The only project not named by me or my team. 6. Capital Court series: Abuja is the capital of Nigeria. First four projects in Abuja named "Capital Courts" 7. City Edge: This is also in Abuja but in a more highbrow area than the Capital Courts. Located in the heart of Abuja city, that's City Edge. Named so. 8. Deca District: Located in an area named Lokogoma in Abuja. Loko goma is Hausa phrase for "10 streets". 10 means Deca in Greek. Deca District = District of 10.
