gameinput is not advocated at all and was stuck in limbo as experimental in game engines.
until xbox has a controller that actually support these features you shouldn’t expect devs to use this api or valve to use x-input losing features like gyro etc.

@iamrysing There's only 2 free bits in XInput, that is not enough to extend it without major hacks.
Microsoft has replaced XInput anyways, and they did so 13 years ago. Go yell at game developers who have lazily stuck with XInput over new solutions for years.

At $100 this should always work out of the box. There's no reason a fallback XInput mode can't exist when 8BitDo has been doing this since forever.
