Took Nigerians long enough. Just glad people are finally waking up to the absolute fraud you and your ruling class buddies are. Elites that cannot compete with their mates in the Western world.
Tony O. Elumelu, CFR@TonyOElumelu

Africa needs partners, not charity. I had the pleasure of engaging at the Norway–Africa Business Summit in Oslo, last week. My message was simple: Africa’s future will not be built by aid, but by investment, partnership, and entrepreneurship.

@OtunbaBrickz Don’t even bother ! Most of the guys on here missing your very comprehensive analysis are kids & can’t comprehend sh*t. You’re spot on from top to bottom & this isn’t even news cos it’s just common knowledge.

TBH i’m really done with this topic bcos yo guys are acting slower than sloths! who’s arguing that fela didn’t create the word “afrobeat” or the genre “afrobeat” Afrobeat =! Afrobeats creating a word is not the same thing creating a genre of music FFS! A Ghanaian DJ at a UK radio station was asked by his boss to create a name for the radio show where he plays Nigerian & Ghanaian pop music and many other african music like Makossa & Coupe de cale for administrative purposes. he looked for something very relatable to the UK/International audience, He decided calling it Hiplife which it was called in Ghana excludes Nigerians & calling it “Naija-Pop” or “Naija-Hiphop” as it was called in nigeria excludes Ghanaians so he decided he could just easily add an “S” to the already existing “Afrobeat” name that the internationa audience were already familiar with and that’s how the name came about. there are literally videos of him explaining this very fact on youtube! why is basic comprehension so difficult, you guys are the type of people that they will give expo in exam hall and you’ll still fail!
Efosa@Efosa1759

So he created the name ? Or took Fela Afrobeat Genre ‘Name’ and added ‘S’ to it . It’s still Fela own bro . Fela created the word . Please make me understand

Would you believe it if I told you that Tems a Nigerian woman won this same category exactly a year ago? See fooling over Grammys 😭😭😭
DJ BIG N@deejaybign

Yes, Nigerians are disappointed about the Grammy outcome, and I feel that too. But let’s turn that energy into action. We need more of us, Nigerian music creatives and execs to join the @RecordingAcad as Voting members. That’s how we shape the narrative from the inside. Let’s get involved and make our votes count! Better luck next year.

@Jorgetwiet Why do you read their tweets? I don’t follow them at all and I block or mute them whenever I see their tweets on my timeline. I form my own opinions & not just hate a player cos some psychos are being stupid.

@Jorgetwiet Calm down. P2S is bigger and better record than all the songs in that category by any metric you want to use. Grammys no care about Una emotions if you like clean chairs for venue 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wiz is involved in at least 15 out of the 20 songs here, not Davido (Nigerian media's favourite), not Burna boy (touring artiste), not Rema, not Asake, not Tems, not Ayra Starr but a "Finished Wizkid" Can I know why we expect more from Wiz than other big artiste in the country.
