Punjab government will strictly follow in letter and spirit the Supreme Court order given on 19th May 2026. As per the SC orders, we will: - Remove stray dogs from all high footfall public spaces so that children, senior citizens and families can move freely without fearing for their safety. We will create and maintain adequate number of dog shelters where these stray dogs can be cared for properly. - Take legally permissible measures, including euthanasia, in cases involving rabid, incurably ill or demonstrably dangerous and aggressive dogs posing a threat to human life, strictly in accordance with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the ABC Rules.

Today, after many days, I went out with my family to enjoy a meal at a hotel. I thought we would spend some happy moments together, but the experience completely ruined my mood. We ordered food for three people, and after finishing our meal, we asked for the bill. To my surprise, the total amount was around ₹10,000. I was shocked because the prices mentioned in the menu card were nowhere close to such a huge amount. I immediately asked the waiter why the bill was so high. Instead of giving a proper explanation, he casually replied that I probably had not checked the menu carefully. I then asked him to bring the menu again. After comparing it, I questioned why the menu appeared different from the one we had seen earlier. However, the waiter insisted that nothing had been changed and claimed it was the same menu. As the argument continued, the manager arrived. I explained the entire situation to him, expecting a fair response, but he also supported the staff and said, “Madam, this is our actual menu. You must be mistaken.” To clear the confusion, I suggested checking the CCTV footage, since it could easily reveal the truth. But surprisingly, the manager flatly refused to show the camera recording and simply said, “Pay the bill and leave.” Now tell me honestly if the hotel staff were truly innocent and transparent, why would they refuse to check the CCTV footage?

Urgent resuce 💔 Got a very stressed and heartbreaking call today. Someone shifted their home and left behind a Labrador tied near a drain. Since morning, this innocent soul has been standing there helplessly in the scorching heat, waiting and hoping for his family to come back for him. Some kind people spotted him and informed us. We are now going to rescue this sweet dog. He looks like a one-year-old Labrador puppy, extremely docile, innocent, and completely unaware of why he was abandoned by the people he trusted the most. We truly fail to understand how people can do this to an animal who only knows how to love unconditionally. This is truly disheartening and painful to witness. Always remember pets are not toys, status symbols, or temporary companions. They are living beings with emotions, attachment, and hearts that break too. A pet is a lifetime commitment. If someone cannot stand by a pet for life, then please do not bring one home in the first place. There is absolutely no compulsion to keep a pet, but once you do, you become their entire world and family. Abandoning them on the streets after they have trusted and loved you is one of the cruelest things a person can do. Please keep this sweet soul in your kind prayers. I called @RailMinIndia at 139 to call of luggage lost at 6pm today. At 6:15 i recieved a message that some Ms. Chaudhary called and closed the ticket since the luggage could not be found?! 15 minutes... they took to search everything in the lost and found yard? Kudos 👏

Flight attendant comes up to me before takeoff, very gentle voice: “Hi, would you be willing to switch seats to help a family sit together?” I already know. I just know. Me: “What seat is it?” Her: “It’s a middle seat toward the back.” I said, “I’m happy to help if it’s the same type of seat or better.” She smiles that tight customer-service smile and goes, “It would really mean a lot to them.” I said, “It already means a lot to me.
