Well done Guardian, this is a headline. Now ask yourselves why you’ve seen such little coverage of a story this important…

Moses Kuria said the next elections will be in 2032. With the current things happening in this country, we should take that seriously. It wasn't just a drunkard speaking. He knows something. All these seems to be pointing a deliberate plot to avoid an election in 2027.

And this is happening because we dared to condemn him for building his church. Because we criticized his leadership. Because we rejected him and his presidency. A scorned man with a fragile ego and dangerous access to power.

In Kenya, a woman steps out to demand justice and the state responds by tearing her body apart. Not with words. Not with rubber bullets. But with rape. A weapon of war disguised as law enforcement. A system so rotten, it fears a woman with a placard more than a man with a gun.

Why do we wear bullet proof vests to cover protests in Kenya? Because police shoot at unarmed people. And sometimes they die. Dramatic day expertly filmed by @mufabs as always, produced by @IsaacOyombe + photos by @festolang. Can't name Security for, well, security reasons

You can’t teargas children, gag the media, deploy barbed wire, and still call yourself a government of the people.

We have been in communication with the Standard media group (@KTNNewsKE @ktnhome_ @StandardKenya) and they have confirmed that their TV and Radio airing has been forcefully and unlawfully shut down by @CA_Kenya. We condemn this unilateralism and impunity by CA and urge all Kenyans to tune in through the Social media and Youtube live streams. We will be taking necessary legal intervention.

Here’s the segment @SkyNews has now deleted. World leaders all clamoured to follow the egregious lie of a pogrom peddled by a regime that’s committing a genocide. This is a perfect example of why public trust in government & legacy media is at an all time low and rightly so.
