I don't even know how this Eid is going to go, I don't know if anyone is in my family is going to celebrate, I don't even have a dress to wear, because everyone is pulling funds together and taking to UCH for treatment for my aunt's sickness, as at yesterday she has been diagnosed with kidney disease, partial stroke and High blood pressure My mom rotates between her work place and accident and emergency in UCH because of her sister, after loosing another one of her sisters Iast week, I don run errands tire together with cooking, going to classes and trying to show up for my brand too, I even told my brother not to come for the festivities because there's nothing to celebrate here. This year has been a rollercoaster of happenings that test our faith in the family, I am typing this after a long day of running around in the hospital and donating blood. But Hasibunallahi WA ni ma ni Wakeel! If you know anyone or organisation willing to help, please help me tag them, I will send every evidence they need to confirm 🤲🥺ejoor

In the spirit of mother's day, I need you to help me help my mom and my grandma... So my mom has 5 sisters, 3 from her stepmum who is late and two from her mom and she's the eldest, but grandma practically raised all of them. Last year one of her step sisters who was born after her was diagnosed with kidney failure and she had been undergoing treatment and dialysis even before my dad died last October. The last child of my grandma who is my mom's sister too developed complications arising from pregnancy and that threw everyone into confusion, from high blood pressure to kidney problem and finally she lost the child, we have moved from oluyoro to Aremo maternity to some sunnah hospitals and other small hospitals and she's back home now because there was no money to continue the treatment, we did fundraising , did fliers(I attached the flier we did and we didn't even raise up to 200k with it),went to mosques to solicit for funds, my mum took loans and a host of other things. Thankfully the elder sister's husband carried the responsibility of taking care of his own wife financially so everyone focused on the other sister who was financially incapable to bear the costs and we are still at it... Just today my mom told me her immediate sister died on Tuesday and had been buried yesterday and grandma must not know because even another child of hers is in a similar situation that has taken the elder one bearing in mind that grandma had lost a son also in his early twenties few years back. this woman is getting worse everyday and has very young children and everyone is drained... I am not even asking you people to donate money at this point, if you know anyone that will be willing to help , any foundation, philanthropists, association or fundraising so we won't lose this woman too, she keeps crying everyday that she's in pain and there's no money to take care of her again, my mom is tired, her other sisters are tired and grandma is tired and weary plus all of them just lost a sister, they are carrying a pain they can't express🤲 My mom said to me today "kini mo shey Ajoke, O ti su mi" Your suggestions, help and contribution is welcomed at this point . You can also help by reposting and helping me tag the people necessary Please 🥺 🙏

The last few months has been a tough and excruciating battle with my life. I am sure I have had to suffer more pains than the guy at the cross who asked Jesus for a place in his kingdom. For those who don't already know, I have a lump on my throat and it has grown to the point where it's now capable of eating my own blood. The lump, according to the series of scans I have done is called Lymphoma. In simpler terms, I have been battling Lymphoma. I have gone days where I couldn’t talk, days where I couldn’t move my body from the bed for the whole day, nights where I have had my life flash before my eyes just because I chose to pee, days where I have had constant blurry visions where I couldn’t see things or anyone clearly, this explains why I have stayed off Facebook because I can’t see for long. I am very weak. It’s the first thing you’d notice when you see me. I am being assisted to walk as I cannot walk on my own. In two months, I have fallen at different places that have sometimes resulted into injuries. How I am still alive, I do not understand it yet. The weakness is very evidenced in my voice, it has been the weakest it has ever been and my speech has become somehow incoherent. When I talk for over 30 seconds, I begin to gasp for air. I am sure some of those who have called me during this period will understand this better. I have emaciated a lot. I don’t even look like me anymore. I have been receiving treatment at the teaching hospital here in Uyo. I am scheduled for a biopsy soon, but I have to wait another week cus the hospital decided to shut down the hospital and send patients home after an issue that occurred at the hospital entrance yesterday. For those who don’t know, a biopsy is done to check if a lump is cancerous or not. So a mini surgery is required as they’ll have to cut a part of my throat to remove the small lump they need for the biopsy. The result of what the biopsy would be scares me a bit. First, because I don’t have the energy to go through cancer treatment after this horrible last two/three months. I really hope it’s not cancer so I can begin to prepare my mind for a major surgery instead. My family and friends have been supportive financially, emotionally, morally during this period. But I’ll be needing your help and support as they can’t do it alone. The biopsy and a possible surgery will cost me significant finances. I need your help. I already thought I’ll be dead by now. But I wake up to life every morning, surprisingly. And since the universe still wants me alive, please help me stay alive. Thank you very much. 7083295784 Ufonime Opay 6869773014 Ufonime FCMB I hope to return to Facebook again after all these. But I need to be okay first. At least get the blurry vision out of the way so I can see your updates on my screen again. I am thankful to everyone who has reached out one way or the other to ask about my well-being. I opened my Messenger app for the first time few days ago and I was overwhelmed at the plethora of new messages. I would attend to those messages as soon as I can gather enough strength. Thank you everyone. God bless you. If God wills, I will be back. Please help Hufon Hime survive His Before. After Photo below 👇

Nigeria politicians/business men, always like to quote Naira to make it look like they started poor. Even Dangote was said to start “humble” at N500k lmao. In 1980 official FX rate ₦1 = $1.80 So ₦20,000 × $1.80 = $36,000 At a rough black-market rate of about ₦0.90 per $1 That is ₦20,000 = $22,000 So depending on which rate you use, ₦20,000 in 1980 could have been worth somewhere around $22,000–$36,000 USD. He had access to that much money. There is nothing like humble beginnings here. That was real money. If you give someone 20k dollars today too they would’ve built a successful business too.

Whenever I have time to scroll the TL, I find myself smiling a lot. People talk online with a level of confidence, arrogance, and authority they’d never carry face to face. Different environment, different incentives; attention gets mistaken for authority pretty quickly 😂
