@DeanJamesAFC Yes there should be, but I don’t talk about daily. And if I do it’s about the older days when it was actually popular.

@iamst4n actually, I tweet more about Football (what you stupidly call soccer) “mate.” I’ve only been knocking on the dense heads of idiots in the IWC for a day or so. I’m actually more of a loser because I work in the industry of scripted play fighting, Stanley.

@urfavSpecialK Agreed. Better question is why do we have any politicians in office who are 75 years or older?

@WindyCityCritic If it’s Hammond then Indiana is not going to mess around they’re cleaning up the entire area and turning it into what Arlington was suppose to be and definitely can see 2032 be the opening and Bears finish out their lease

Old McCormick would be interesting, Rahm tried to demolish for the Lucas Museum and couldn't. I don't know if Arlington will get the funding approved, almost $1B in public funding. Hammond is also crazy, it would be very interesting if Arlington gets turned down for funding x.com/WindyCityCriti…

Chicago pivoting back to Reese, which the Bears have turned down multiple times. But the Reese site is the only location that has support from the city, state and park activists. The Bears would have full approval and funding.
Front Office Sports@FOS

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is renewing a push for a downtown stadium site for the Bears. The team remains focused on suburban options in Arlington Heights and Hammond, Ind., despite the city’s efforts to keep them.

@WindyCityCritic Old McCormick would be ideal if they stayed in the city, but traffic would be even more hell. It’s Arlington or bust for Illinois.

@roon0292 @brendenmoore13 I ultimately don’t care where they go, but at the end of the day this all political talk just so the state can say that they did their best to keep the Bears in Illinois or they’ll say the Bears didn’t give them enough time, if they do leave for Hammond.

@iamst4n @brendenmoore13 We shall see what ultimately happens Frankly it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the legislature passes something at last second (which they are famous for I’ll add)

@roon0292 @brendenmoore13 He’s rehashing more of the same that has already been said and they’re still at the same point that they’ve been the last month or so. Fact of the matter is the state has been sitting on this for nearly 3 years since the Bears purchased the land.

@iamst4n You seem nice! And no, it isn't May 31, it's "the next few weeks," which can mean two, four, six, eight... really whatever someone wants it to mean! It's all relative... 🤷‍♂️

@AdamSchefter Should the Bears leave Illinois if Arlington Heights legislation fails, or fight to stay in Chicago?

The Chicago Bears will decide where to build their new stadium in the next few weeks, per league sources. If Illinois doesn’t pass legislation for Arlington Heights soon, sources believe the Bears are likely to be Indiana bound. Two proposed sites in Chicago are not considered feasible, per sources; next to Soldier Field for political reasons, and the land known as Michael Reese was evaluated and rejected by the NFL and the Bears.
