@TheAtlantic says US chip policy weakens America. It doesn’t. Export bans didn’t stop AI. They pushed it into decentralised systems. Allowing N-1 chip exports pulls activity back into something governments can control. Selling older tech is soft power, not surrender.

38% of Gen Z tech workers think AI could replace them. 37% say their jobs have already been redefined. The internship became automation. The analyst became ChatGPT. The training period became a prompt. Gen Z isn’t paranoid about AI. They’re paying attention.

There are 3 types of nomads: No kids: Asia & LatAm. Exotic, cheap, easy visas, English everywhere. With kids: School & stability rule — Spain, Portugal, Georgia. Emirates if you’re stacked. Americans are welcome everywhere because they outspend everyone.

America doesn’t want to work in tech. Nobody’s googling "how to code in Python" or "become a prompt whisperer." The top search? "How to become a notary." 38K people a month. That’s quiet panic. Maybe the new American dream is simple: Find work AI can’t touch.

Your job is to manage the slider between “work as just KPIs” and “work as something bigger.” Get it wrong, and you’ll lose people—no matter what their LinkedIn birth year says.

@Workday is being sued for algorithmic bias. When building an algorithm, it is easy to say, “It’s just data, the model decided.” I used to say it, too. And I was wrong. Train a model on biased historical data, and you amplify that. Bias doesn’t need malice — only negligence.

Hiring used to mean headcount. Now it means outcomes. AI is changing the equation. @TIME : “AI will devastate work — if we let it.” Your edge: hire intentionally. Build human-first teams. Think in outcomes, not titles. And, as @grivlin said, master AI before it masters you.

AI isn’t replacing jobs. It’s replacing mediocrity. As @aneesh_raman said in @BusinessInsider , your “story of self” is now a competitive edge. AI drafts. Humans decide. Your role as a leader? Know when to use AI, or not. Where have you skipped AI — and been glad you did?
