Canada has officially selected TKMS as its preferred supplier for up to twelve 212CD-class submarines under the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project. The first four submarines will be delivered "in 2034", ahead of what had previously been indicated, and ahead (or matching?) the four submarines "by 2035" commitment that Hanwha made as part of its bid. It's not entirely clear yet if any TKMS submarines might arrive before 2034, or if the first four will all arrive that year.
