Last month I visited 2 of 43 businesses supported by 🇬🇧 thru 🇱🇧 Host Communities Support Programme, which secured 100s of jobs & livelihoods.
Also went to Beirut port where UK’s working with Beirut Port Silos Authorities in support of recovery of port operations. #UKAid

Lebanon’s 2022 parliamentary elections saw a record number of women candidates elected! 👉As only 9 governments out of 88 total govts in 🇱🇧 have included women since 1943, I hope for increased representation of women also in the next govt. 📣Think #EqualNow for an #EqualFuture.

The ship’s wreck, just off Tripoli’s coast, is a protected war grave, & final resting place of all who were trapped on board
