I don't mean that to sound ominous. But I'm trying to be realistic about some things. I've been managing some pretty serious physical challenges. I have to consider the possibility that there's a point in the future where typing a lot will no longer be feasible for me.

I mean it wasn't by choice 😅. But getting laid off has been an interesting wakeup call. In many ways I was distracted from my career. I haven't been taking it as seriously as I should've been for a while now. Seeing what I'm worth in a downturn will give me a lot of perspective.

@tiff_help I understand there can be technical difficulties but for many this is the only reason they have a membership in the first place. An official response of "go to the back of the line and try again" is disappointing and unacceptable.

Rapid at-home Covid tests are inaccessible to blind people as they require complex steps and have no Braille guides. Some apps offer support, but these interactions are difficult, and not everyone who is blind is able to use a smartphone. nyti.ms/3HTKgYy

But that doesn't mean he couldn't learn from that situation and see what went wrong and be a better coach. the hitting knowledge is there . interacting and teaching is something he will need to learn

Or potential employees for that matter. Shopify already has major ethical problems as a company... interesting that Kaz feels the need to be publicly defensive about the *idea* of other companies piloting a 4 day work week (still 40hrs).

China’s growth was fueled partially by 996 companies (9 to 9, 6 days a week). Protestant Work Ethic was key to development of the West. Holiday and rest are important. But so is work. We should celebrate hard work more than we do.
