The 8th Molecular Virology Meeting, organized by Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) has commenced at its campus at Thiruvananthapuram. The meeting is for three days from 18-20th September 2025.

Dr. Geetu Rose Varghese, Project Scientist at Institute of Advanced Virology is awarded with DBT-BioCARe fellowship for the year 2024-25 for the project proposal entitled “Immunogenicity evaluation of pseudovirus-based pan-flaviviral vaccine prototypes”.

Dr. Gayathri Krishna, an awardee of prestigious Chief Minister’s Nava Kerala Post-Doctoral Fellowship (CMNPDF) in 2023 is awarded with DBT-BioCARe fellowship for the year 2024-25. Congratulations Dr. Gayathri.

Dr. Aneesh B., Project Scientist, Department of Virus Diagnostics presented a poster on the molecular epidemiology of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) circulating in Kerala at the 13th International RSV Symposium held at Foz do Iguaçú, Brazil. Congratulations Dr. Aneesh
