The issue is not the bird strike. That can happen to any airline. The issue is also not operational disruption. All airlines have them. The issue is how you have treated passengers. According to @funkeakindele passengers (including elderly people) have been stranded since 6:30am at the airport. Even after being promised accomodation, they were left exhausted at the airport waiting for their bags and hotel without food or drink. This is the real issue. An airline is expected to have a standard procedure that kicks in immediately this kind of disruption happens. The fact that this is happening one too many times shows the obvious lack of preparation or maybe even regard for your passengers. My honest counsel to @flyairpeace your competitive edge has long been pricing, but no fare is low enough to outweigh a reputation for treating passengers poorly. Passengers will tolerate a delay; they will not forget being stranded, hungry, and ignored. Protect your customers, and you protect the very advantage you have built.

"The masters of war pretend not to know that it takes only a moment to destroy, yet often a lifetime is not enough to rebuild. They turn a blind eye to the fact that billions of dollars are spent on killing and devastation, yet the resources needed for healing, education, and restoration are nowhere to be found." - Pope Leo

People forget that Jesus came at a time when Jerusalem was under Roman occupation. They installed a puppet King (Herod) and taxed the people heavily. But the Jewish people had historical records of God using Moses to save them in Egypt. They had read of how God used King David to save them from their enemies. If God did it before, he can do it again. If he save them from Egypt, surely he can save them from Rome. So they expected a Warrior King. A Messiah that would save them from the chains of Rome. You could forgive them for thinking that Jesus was that warrior King. Because when he spoke, he spoke with authority. He performed miracles and drew huge crowds who followed him. To cap it up, he spoke about "The Kingdom of God" - A Phrase that simple meant "Regime Change" to the people. So when He rode into Jerusalem (on Palm Sunday), people started shouting - “Hosanna…Blessed is the King!”. They weren’t just worshipping. They were endorsing a potential revolutionary leader. Their own version of a Nationalist Political Leader. BUT THEY WERE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED! There was a clash of expectations. While they expected a sword, Jesus brought a message of “love your enemies....blessed are the peacemakers". When they expected Rome to fall, he urged them instead to “Render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar". They expected political liberation, instead, He spoke about inner transformation, salvation of the soul and a spiritual kingdom. They wanted a King to overthrow Rome but Jesus instead revealed a Kingdom not built on violence but on the core plan of reconciling sinners to God. If Jesus was to come in the 21st Century, many would be greatly disappointed because his person and message would not be different from when He came in the 1st Century. After all, isn't he the same yesterday, today and forever?

This whole NASA Artemis II mission to the moon thingy got me thinking deeply about God. If it weren't for His creation, science wouldn't exist. Because technically, science is just a study of what God created. You just can't take our God out of the equation.

"There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." - Galatians 3:28 This is my creed and it is the basis in which I practice my faith and I interact with my world. I believe and do not consider myself inferior to any race, class, or gender. I believe in the equality of all men and all women across nations and stripes, borders and territories. I believe in freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom from slavery and yes freedom not to believe what I believe. I believe my faith does not make me feel superior to those who do not share it. If anything, it makes me more accountable because I am called not merely to believe rightly, but to love those who don't believe. I believe that dignity is not earned, it is inherent. It was written into every human being before any nation drew its borders, and before any market assigned its prices. I believe that suffering has no passport. A grieving mother in Gaza and in Tel Aviv cry in the same language. The stomach of a hungry child in Lagos and London, growls and rumbles the same way. Our pain is the one currency we all trade in equally. I believe that the measure of a civilisation is not the height of its towers but the depth of its compassion particularly for those it has no political reason to care about. I believe I can hold my convictions with both hands and still leave room at the table for those who hold different ones. I believe in HUMANITY! Happy Easter
