@Nefertiiti Our license provisions limit us to power generation only. However, Akwa Ibom State Government is leveraging the new electricity act to look into the power situation. It has incorporated it’s own distribution company and it’s about to pass a state electricity law.

@ibompowerupdate Ok. Good to know. AK has a power deficit. Will IPC also include transmission and distribution? Also, is IPC taking the lead on shoring up power supply to the State?

@Nefertiiti We have an on-grid power generation license, so we generate power that is made available on the grid and used in Akwa Ibom State as well as other parts of the country.

@ibompowerupdate You generate power for the national grid only? Or you supply power directly to parts of AK?

@Nefertiiti We’ve been operating for about 15 years in Akwa Ibom State.
