Not sure I am as fascinated with Baleba without Enzo, but still a player I would go for. Baleba was enticing to me because he completes our midfield with Enzo being a roaming 8 in mind. Depending on our LB it could have been incredible as well if Alonso decides to use a back 4. Need to see how this Enzo saga shapes up.

Abramovich was funding Chelsea through owner loans. Those crazy salaries, expensive signings, and heavy spending over the years were largely financed by money he loaned to the club At one point, Chelsea reportedly owed him around £1.5bn 😂 When he sold the club, he chose not to demand repayment of those loans This also wasn’t even the first time Abramovich cleared Chelsea’s debt. He did something similar in 2009 by converting those loans into equity because the club revenue couldn’t match the expenses Abramovich did so much financially for this club that some fans now think Chelsea naturally generates enough money to sustain that level of spending and wages on its own

They buy players based on stats but they’ve always failed to look at that of Enzo Fernandez to know it has been consistently improving the last 3 seasons. At least if you’re not giving him an improved deal which I think he deserves, then why rush and sell when he still has 6 years left.
