Yesterday, we embarked on the journey to initiate the Olokola Deep Sea Port Project, which spans across Ogun and Ondo states. We have commenced community engagements, surveys, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and other essential activities.
We have been to Ode Omi, Araromi Sea side, Okitipupa, Igbokoda…
These efforts will facilitate our approach to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for approvals and ultimately enable us to move to the site ASAP.
I personally lead the project team for the engagement and site visitation to demonstrate the respect the President of Dangote holds for the communities involved, pass his well wishes and explain our presence.
I conveyed to them the seriousness and readiness of the @DangoteGroup to commence and complete this project.

BREAKING: Political Shockwave as Governor Sim Fubara Reportedly Set to Join NDC After APC Screening Snub
Fresh political tension is brewing following reports that Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, may be heading to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) after allegedly being left out of a recent APC screening process.
The development has sparked intense reactions across social media and political circles, with supporters and critics debating the possible implications ahead of future political alignments in the country.
Although there has been no official confirmation from Governor Fubara or the APC leadership at the time of reporting, the speculation has continued to gain momentum online, with many describing the move as a potential political game changer.
Analysts believe that if confirmed, the development could reshape alliances within Rivers State politics and trigger fresh debates within the ruling party structure.

In the coming days, I’ll begin rolling out employment opportunities under the Sarkinmota Group. We will be employing qualified, competent and certified individuals ready to work and grow with us.
But let me make something very clear,
this is also my own little way of giving back to the people who truly stood by me and supported me from day one. So yes, supporters will have an advantage.
However, support alone is not enough. You must be capable. You must be ready. You must be certified.
And trust me, the interview questions may not only be about your CV or qualifications. I might ask you something as simple as: “What was the last video I posted?”
Because loyalty matters to me. Support matters to me. Real people who genuinely believe in the vision matter to me. This is bigger than employment. This is building a family, a movement, and a future together.
Start dusting your CVs. Sarkinmota Group is just getting started.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Major General Adeyinka A. Fadewa (Rtd) as Special Adviser on Homeland Security, in recognition of his exceptional record of service, strategic expertise, and outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s national security architecture.
In a circular signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, CON, which was issued by the Permanent Secretary General Services Office, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, mni, the appointment underscores the commitment of the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to strengthening internal security coordination, enhancing intelligence-driven operations, and deepening inter-agency collaboration in addressing emerging security threats across the country.
Major General Fadewa (Rtd) is a highly decorated retired General with over three decades of distinguished military and intelligence service spanning national security strategy, intelligence fusion, counter-terrorism operations, and international security diplomacy. His career reflects a rare blend of operational excellence, strategic foresight, and institutional leadership in safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity and national interests.
As Principal General Staff Officer to the National Security Adviser at the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) from 2015 to 2021, he played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s modern intelligence coordination framework. He spearheaded the establishment of the Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC) at ONSA, creating an integrated multi-agency intelligence platform that brought together the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force, and the Armed Forces to improve national threat assessment and strategic response coordination.
Following his retirement from active military service, Major General Fadewa (Rtd) served as Senior Research Fellow at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja, where he continued to provide strategic thought leadership on policing, civil-security cooperation, and national security reform. His scholarly contributions include the widely acclaimed monograph titled “Policing and National Security in Nigeria,” which offers practical frameworks for strengthening civil-security collaboration.
President Tinubu expressed confidence that the appointment of Major General Fadewa (Rtd) will further enhance the administration’s efforts toward achieving a safer and more secure Nigeria through improved coordination of homeland security initiatives, intelligence integration, and proactive risk management.
He also urged him to deploy his wealth of experience, professionalism, and strategic insight in advancing national security objectives and supporting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Dear @channelstv @ARISEtv @tvcnewsng @NTANewsNow, please when next you go for a media briefing with FCT Minister @GovWike, kindly ask him about the following:
1. Cows taking over roads, now including highways, in Abuja
2. Waste collection and mountains of refuse in various parts of town
3. Swarms of young children, who should be in school, begging at traffic lights and junctions under the supervision of adults sitting under nearby trees.
4. The pandemic of driving “one-way” against traffic.
5. Aggressive street traders, especially the ones selling windscreen wiper blades, who insist on putting their hands on your windscreen.
6. All commercial vehicles, including Keke, that believe that traffic lights don’t apply to them.
Others may have other things to add but it would be good to get answers to these first.
Thank you.

@africainfostat @UthmanTochukwu Forget the lies you get from Tunji Ojo all the time, it's not every flight that goes through E gate even in Lagos airport 😒

@UthmanTochukwu Is this recent, because no immigration officer is physically checking your passport again.... you scan your passport yourself and do relevant biometric...
Or is this just a usual lamba?

As a frequent global traveler flying in and out of Nigeria, the arrival process at MMIA used to be the one thing that instantly raised my blood pressure. Today, the entire process has been fully digitized. I cleared customs in just 3 minutes, no human interaction, no stress, and no begging from immigration officials. This is a massive win and deserves huge kudos to the PBAT @officialABAT admin! ✈️ One more 🌹 for you @fkeyamo I love good things, you should too! If you have experienced this process, please share.

On arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja from Cairo, at the immigration passport clearance desk, this officer (a woman) looked at my passport and asked … “what is Tochukwu doing with Uthman Isa”?
I wanted to get angry but on a 2nd thought, I decided to politely tell her that I am Igbo and a Muslim and from my passport, you could see Nsukka.
She felt surprised and admitted this is her first time seeing an Igbo Muslim.
Nigeria needs to grow beyond tribe and religion if we must make progress as a country.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. A few hours ago, the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas GCON, announced my letter of resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and my formal move to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at plenary. I am now a member of the ADC, and I will be seeking re‑election to continue representing the good people of Kaduna North Federal Constituency on this platform.
I am joined in this new chapter by our respected elder, Hon. Engr. Suleiman Richifa, representing Soba, and my dear brother, Hon. Umar Ajilo, representing Makarfi/Kudan, who both defected from their previous parties to the African Democratic Congress. Together, we are building a home for progressive, people‑focused service.
This decision was not taken lightly. As a proud son of Mallam Nasir @elrufai, I am guided by courage, conviction, and the unshakable belief that our people deserve the very best. To the people of Kaduna North: our work continues, and it will not stop. We will never compromise on delivering quality representation. There is still so much to do.
By the grace of God, I will soon announce the ad hoc committee for the Primary Health Care initiative I unveiled last week. We will be equipping Primary Health Care Centres with medical supplies, starting with 1,000 syringes per PHC and other essential items. Phase I begins with two centres: Unguwar Sarki Ward and Badarawa/Malali Ward.
May Allah SWT continue to guide us as we serve the people. And may He bless Nigeria with the best leaders.
Signed
Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai
