Ghanaian citizens in the Northern part of the country are running from their own towns to nearby countries because of tribal fights. These are the same areas that give the NDC 70–80% of their votes. Yet the President and security heads don’t care, they’ve closed their eyes to it. Instead, they’re wasting money and energy on Akwatia and other useless things. This is the ‘wise vote’ people cut off friends and family for. Shameful.

I filed my nomination papers today at the NPP Headquarters to contest the 31st January, 2026 presidential primary. God willing. I believe my leadership would offer the NPP an opportunity for a quick return to power in 2028. I have the character, competence, humility, and vision needed to lead the NPP and Ghana. I urged the rank and file of the party to make unity the bedrock of the campaign. On my part, I am committed to a peaceful and decent campaign.
