I’m not sure who needs to hear this, but if you’re using Longhorn for Kubernetes volumes it does NOT like to follow symlinks on the host nodes. You will spend far too much time hunting it down and replacing it with a bind mount.

has anybody else seen @Rancher_Labs Rancher attempt to create HUNDREDS of nodes on vSphere because it ran into an issue provisioning the 3 node etcd/control plane?
