Two days ago, I drove into town after work, parked my car and went inside the complex. About 45 minutes later, I returned to find my car sparkling clean, with water still on the ground. Someone had washed it. As I admired it, a young boy walked up to me, bowed, and said, "Sir, I washed it. It’s free, but I would appreciate anything you can give." I was moved. I gave him 2,000 naira. The joy on his face was incredible. He nearly lay flat on the ground to thank me. I called him back and asked why he was doing this kind of work. He said he had finished secondary school, had no interest in university, and wanted to learn welding to become a professional. He was saving up for it. I saw zeal and honesty in his eyes. He told me his parents had four children and shared them among different relatives. He ended up with an uncle who cared little about him. After a long conversation, we exchanged contacts and I promised to get back to him. Today, I took him to register with a good welder I know. Since the place is far from his area, I will cover his daily lunch and transportation. He will learn four days a week and use the remaining three days to rest, sort himself out, and help his uncle. I also spoke with his parents, who were very grateful. He starts tomorrow. I am glad I could take one child off the street. Above all, love God.

The Lebanese have been in our country for over a century, long before anyone alive was born. They have been with us in good and worst times in our history. We have a moral duty to express solidarity and unreservedly condemn the cruel and atrocious bombing and killing of their civilian population.Africa and the rest of the World must wake up,stand up and save Lebanon from further destruction.”Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere”.The Killing of Children,Women,Journalists and attacks on residential buildings,Schools and hospitals is not war,it’s War crimes. The helplessness and hopelessness of the UN is tragic and unfortunate.

I was a university dropout when I paid for my siblings GCE forms. One of them is now a senior Tech bro in Canada. I was in the university as an undergrad in London when I was also funding my sisters degree in Uni Ilorin. We collectively funded her Masters, she just got a great job in London a few weeks ago. We must collectively hold the goverment to account for making cost of living so miserable for the common man. Now life is harder than ever for our people, and extreme Individualism is not the way to go. We must try and manage together, that is our only hope🙏🙏

Please, I sincerely beg for your help to repost this so it can reach a wider audience 🙏💔 This is another heartfelt cry for help. My mom and I are still struggling to repay the debt we incurred while securing my freedom. We had no choice but to borrow a huge amount as ransom, and the burden is becoming too heavy for us to carry alone. So far, we have received ₦495,000 in donations on X, ₦1,200,000 through Instagram (thanks to Daddy Freeze), and my mum and I have managed to repay ₦400,000 ourselves. Despite all these efforts, we still have an outstanding balance of ₦4.2 million. The pressure from the lenders is increasing every day, and it is taking a serious toll on my mum’s emotional and mental health. It’s heartbreaking to see her this way. We have done everything within our power, but we truly cannot do this alone. Please, I humbly ask for your support—no amount is too small, and every contribution brings us closer to freedom. If you are unable to donate, kindly help me share this message. Your repost could connect us to someone who can help. We still have an outstanding balance of ₦4.1 million. Account Details: OLANIYI GBOLAHAN 2088772282 (UBA) May God bless and reward everyone who supports us during this difficult time. 🙏💔

After our widows and orphans empowerment program yesterday, this poor widow ALILONU CHINASA HARRIETA pulled me aside. With tears in her eyes, she said she might not be alive to attend the next one. She sees no way out of her situation except if God comes for her. She lifted her blouse and showed me the lump. She has cancer. She has spent the little she had on several tests, but some results she hasn’t even been able to collect because she lacks money to pay for them. The doctor says she needs urgent surgery and treatment, which will cost ₦2.8 million and above. This woman is a widow with three young daughters. She lost her husband years ago. Her husband’s family has abandoned her because she has only girls. She was the only surviving child of her late parents, so she has no one else to turn to. Please, if this touches your soul, let us come together and save her life. She has no other hope. Account number 6008594961 Account mane: ALILONU CHINASA HARRIETA Key stone Bank

Upon my return to Abuja, I was parked by a soldier on duty who asked where I was heading, and I mentioned FCT. He politely asked if could lift one of his colleagues to Abuja, and I said it was fine. When I was few meters close to Giri junction, I asked the officer his route, he was heading to Zuba while I was going through Lugbe axis to the town. I told him Zuba isn’t far. Transport is around 2-300 Naira. I asked if he was going to stop there(Zuba), or he was heading somewhere. He then told me he was going home to see for the first time after 10 months, his newly born twins. No permission was granted over the period. Sadly, he had to make the compulsory trip because his wife had called that one of the babies had died. And she urged him to come see the other twin in case he will die too. I asked him why he didn’t leave earlier than he left. He replied that he waited with the hope that salaries will be paid, since today is second, but it wasn’t, unfortunately. How then do you intend to make it, I asked him. He showed me all the money he had on him –4,500 which wasn’t even enough to get him to his destination. I could not help than give him 20k and I took his phone number, giving him my words that I will call to get information about the sick baby. I want to ask a question, please 🙏🏻 Are these the soldiers we expect to lay down their lives in our protection? You’re owing soldiers, and you want them to be effective while fighting insecurity? Sadly, this is really laughable. Allahumma bārik. BMT Ibira
