Normalizing the sexualization of youthful-looking characters has gone too far. If you feel the same, please check out this petition and consider signing/sharing

Dear NCOSE Team, I wanted to bring to your attention a petition concerning the new protagonist Evie in Shift Up’s upcoming video game Stellar Blade: Blood Rain. Many players are concerned that Evie’s youthful appearance, combined with the game’s heavy sexualization (revealing outfits and jiggle physics on intimate areas), risks normalizing the sexualization of youthful-looking characters in mainstream video games. Petition link: change.org/ProtectYouthfu… Shift Up’s CEO (@jamm3rd) has publicly stated that Evie’s outfits will be “even more appealing,” despite widespread feedback that she looks significantly younger than the original protagonist Eve. I believe this falls under your mission regarding the sexualization of minors/young-looking individuals in media. Thank you for the important work you do. Best regards #ProtectYouthfulCharacters

Yorch, this is why your impressions are going up. It's not because your posts are liked. This is akin to society staring at a madman screaming at himself in a public square. Enjoy the brief uptick. Soon, you may see even your ardent fans pull away. I tried to help.

Everyone knows I'm against reporting games to payment processors. But in the case of Stellar Blade Blood Rain, Shift Up is the sole responsible for this whole Evie debacle. Its CEO was all cocky reposting 'owns'. Victory laps always come with a bill. Always.

My question to people saying Evie looks like a child are y'all okay want to tell us something. I can go to Manhattan & see about 20 Asian women going to work that look like her. Dude's doing this It's okay to be gay & not like women. You know who y'all are. I hear being gay "it's the fucking tits" Ted The Series. I hope Stellar Blade Blood Rain sells more copies than the first one. 😁👍

@Vara_Dark I find it disingenuous to claim the petition is trying to censor anything. There’s nothing “there” to censor — that’s the problem. Evie’s appearance is ambiguous enough that you had to ask @jamm3rd about her age. When the first game released, I created the FreeStellarBlade website to highlight the censorship that Shift Up admitted to (not Sony, not copyright). You were aware of the website because you liked my post in your Discord, but you never covered it or responded to my email. You had the chance to ask @jamm3rd about the censorship still present in the first game, the Day 1 PS5 adopters scam, or Denuvo on a single-player game. Instead, you expressed reservations about Evie’s youthful appearance - until @jamm3rd made you feel comfortable about it. You’re only against censorship when it doesn’t affect the bag. Actions speak louder than monetized videos. Imagine claiming to be “red pill” while fighting for a youthful, underage-looking sexualized character design over a sexualized mature one. All we want is Evie with a clearly mature adult appearance so we can get back to enjoying the game. #StellarBlade #Evie #ProtectYouthfulCharacters

Yes I remember all of that. However Lily isn’t the main character and I don’t remember there being jiggle physics on her. To me, Lily appears older than Evie and Kaya. When I see Evie, she reminds me of Kaya because how similar in age they appear to be. Shift Up released a day one patch, that censored the most revealing outfits in the game. They admitted they censored the outfits in an ambiguous way(not Sony and not copyright) Shift Up never uncensored those original outfits. Holiday Rabbit is still Granny Rabbit I think you’re mistaken Red Hood as the Bunny outfit replacement, but it doesn’t have the tail nor the ears that made peculiar. EveNotEvie.com

Eve's model was based on a motion scan of a Korean model, but the model itself is slightly taller and more curvaceous. The activists who attacked the game, claiming it wasn't realistic, and those who called for censorship were simply projecting their own issues with the design In fact, in SB, they didn’t just attack Eve but also Lily, because there was a small group of people who said they saw her as a minor—even though she was an adult. I don’t know if that rings a bell. Sony released a patch on launch day to censor content in Stellar Blade, including several outfits, although Shift Up later released additional content that included alternative versions of some of the censored outfits. Now you’re calling for the same censorship while repeating the same narrative as the people who attacked the first game.

I’m glad we can talk about this I disagree that Eve does not have a personality, she’s sent to Earth to complete her mission She’s never been to Earth. She’s been led to believe civilization does not exist She gets to Earth, loses her friend, learns that Humanity and civilization survived. She’s trying to complete her mission but keeps getting getting hit with contradictions Eve is focused and keeps to herself until she realizes that Mother Sphere lied. She has to deal with all this while having the biggest fraudster posing as her ally. There was an interview where Shift Up said they watered down the story because they thought players wouldn’t be able to “get it”

@ibu_protocol @JayViperTV I loved eve's design and I definitely want their story to continue. Only thing I agree with is she didnt have much personality. But to me it wasn't terrible due to her being an artificial human and a soldier. Soldiers are taught to think and behave differently

The freak who is petitioning against SHIFT Up isn't even an EVE or Stellar Blade fan. Yorch is suspected to have never played the game and is totally on board. Two posers trying to push a censorship campaign. Say it isn't so!

This MFer is really out here supporting censorship while trying to convince people he's not? How brain rotted is Yorch and this other weirdo? Imagine losing all your credibility over the fact that Evie merely exists. EXPOSED

@YorchTorchGames they haven’t realized that what’s in the petition is exactly what @jamm3rd is going to do @jamm3rd invited all this discourse, all they had to do is NOT call it “Stellar Blade” That’s it. Instead @jamm3rd calls the new character “Evie”, which is a bit hypocritical when they’ve been talking bad about Eve saying she’s bland. Then they fast forward 30 some years and still find a way to bring the Naytiba back, something they could have just done with Eve. EveNotEvie.com

I'll say it again, and I will never get tired of saying it. There's a significant difference between being pro-censorship and calling out Shift Up for: - Making a terrible marketing decision (replacing Eve). - The CEO taunting critics and, in doing so, adding fuel to the backlash which would inevitably invite censorship pressure. You can drown my reply with thousands of requotes and gotchas, but it doesn’t change the point. And I get it... it's easier for you to just say 'Yorch supports censorship', than confronting the argument.
Emerald Apple@AI_EmeraldApple

"grow up"? Sounds like you are the one who could benefit from "growing up" when you pull the nuclear option just because you don't like a design. You know as well as I do that the whole cancel campaign comes from a place of degenerate moral panic where they conflate youthful adult appearance with pedophilia. They did the SAME thing with Eve from the first game, and they are doing the SAME thing again!

I remember Collective Shout from @CurtisWillet007 He explained to me how they would try to convince Visa & MasterCard to keep gamers from buying whatever their ideology doesn’t agree with. Now our own people and those who support woke are actively resorting to that low tactic…even our own brethren. Any game that stars a beautiful woman must be discarded by all means. That’s what collective shout believes in. These people are evil. Stellar Blade will overcome & gamers will win again.

All of you “Stellar Blade” fans allowed @jamm3rd to censor the first game (not Sony btw) I was there, I created the freestellarblade website to highlight the censorship The game is still censored by the way, go look at Holiday Rabbit. You can’t call yourself a “Stellar Blade” fan while letting @jamm3rd talk bad about Eve just to prop up the new character. You don’t do that. There is a difference between appearing “young” versus appearing “underage” Evie’s design is ambiguous and skirts that line in a game where jiggle physics and revealing suggestive outfits are an expectation I do not want @jamm3rd to normalize the sexualization of Youthful underage looking characters in games, do you? change.org/ProtectYouthfu…

While some groups keep pushing payment processors to censor creative works they dislike, Shift Up CEO Hyung-tae Kim was direct about Evie in Stellar Blade: Blood Rain: “Yes. She is younger. She’s smaller in size. She’s shorter than Eve… but she has a stronger personality and engages in much tougher battles. If you actually play the game, you will not think that.” Important note: Evie is an adult character, she is not a child. This is the same selective outrage playbook we’ve seen before, attack now, then try to claim her later. Keep the receipts. If you’re hating on her design today, you don’t get to claim her later. Gatekeep Evie. Personal note: I stand with Shift Up and Evie’s design. I stand with CEO Hyung-tae Kim. I will be supporting this game 100%. #TeamEvie Mastercard and Visa have no authority over what art can be made or what we can enjoy. X Payments cannot come soon enough. Artistic freedom isn’t optional.

This is you supporting censorship with your "they had it coming" attitude. You should be pushing AGAINST this payment processor shit, not supporting it, REGARDLESS of your position on Evie. Not supporting her design is different than you supporting censorship, which is exactly what you're doing. And the woke "childlike" attacks. lol. Go to South Korea, my guy.
