there needs to be POC writers in s2. people involved have no knowledge on how to write and display the challenges of a POC, esp in a predominantly white sports 🫠🫠 everything is briefly touched upon when it's literally an unspoken driving force of mounting pressure shane faces

knew media literacy was dead when people’s reaction to hollanov’s plan in ep 6 was ‘well scott came out!!’. like do we not understand how vastly different their situations are

ilya is out for injury so shane takes on captain duties n the cens are so excited bc they think shane is less mean/teasing than ilya but then shane makes them do a near torturous warm ups and intensely critiques their smallest details that when ilya returns they cry tears of joy

the way that people have been reacting to shane in TLG, someone who makes flawed choices but ultimately tries to do the right thing when it counts, makes me terrified about writing my book with my ocs, who all make the worst possible choice at every turn

have the people who are calling shane an antagonist in the long game ever read any other book ever, let alone another romance book

My goodness schmaltz that was nasty
