No one in mortgage arrears who is being perused by a bank or a vulture fund should appear in court without first having to see a personal insolvency practitioner.This should be mandatory. Current system allows for adjournment but no consequences if either party fails tocooperate

Positive announcement by @DarraghOBrienTD widening the eligibility criteria for the Govt's MTR scheme. The next step will be making it mandatory for an @ISIbackontrack PIP to have reviewed the case to ensure MTR isn't used where alternatives are possible independent.ie/breaking-news/…
