The weekend of TwitchCon 2022, on Saturday afternoon, my mom called me to tell me that my aunt was diagnosed with a stage 4 sarcoma on her pulmonary artery. It was stage 4 because it was inoperable. I was standing next to @Kleanisklean and @DottyHackTV and cried as they hugged me just outside of artist’s alley. Since then she has fought every single day, dozens of rounds of chemotherapy, trying to shrink that fuckface of a tumor. She gained a little ground, but unfortunately life and biology have their limits and today my mom notified me that my aunt is going into right-sided heart failure due to an excess of fluid buildup, she can not have anymore chemo, and they are moving her into hospice this afternoon. She’s been fighting for 2.5 years. She’s one of the most baddest of asses I’ve ever been honored to know. I write all of this to say hug your loved ones. Tell your friends you love them, if you do. Let them know how important they are to you. Because this fickle existence will be over before you know it, and sometimes the worst shit happens to the best people.
