There are $BP pre-markets @Bybit_Official - $0.33 per BP @pacifica_fi - $0.35 per BP That's 7% price different between two platforms. I'm upset to see that they launched premarket but can't handle market making. @Backpack will launch $BP on March 23. All BP withdrawals will be suspended on TGE day. So price discovery will happen only on Backpack, not on other platforms. What FDV will Backpack list for BP? It doesn't matter if you think through. All $BP tokens are in the hand of point holders and @MadLads holders. Holders will decide the price. All these holders have their cost basic. If they are selling lower than cost basic, that's a loss selling. If the holders are holding even over cost basic (only % selling), lower price can't stay long. Remember Backpack will mostly have separate vault for $BP. We don't know yet how much Backpack will put into the vault. Maybe $1m or $10m or $100m. The vault will keep putting limit orders for price stability and maybe some buying TWAPs. If we get back to pre-markets, im concerned how they will market making at TGE? There's no MMs $BP allocation like normal tokens. These platforms will have to buy $BP first at listing for MM liquidity or their perp price will depeg and have bad reputation. Or you can blame on max negative funding fees.
