So, as of today, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has lasted 1,336 days. That’s: 85% of the duration of World War I, 61% of the duration of the entire World War II, 94% of the duration of the Soviet–Nazi war on the Eastern Front. And still, the world's top nuclear power and one of the largest militaries ever -- has failed to defeat Ukraine or conquer it yet. Since the Battle of Britain, never have the fates of so many depended so much on the heroism of so few -- the Ukrainian soldiers who, despite the unbearable weight and filth of this deranged world, keep doing the impossible every single day, with as little as what they have to fight with.
