I'm bginning to fall in love with KUSHIDA again. He was my favorite wrestler in New Japan about 10 years ago. Used his theme as my ringtone for years. 🥹

@Viva_Zero Both Yoh & Sho could do with gimmick rebrands and getting masks but it seems probably too late at this point. Would be cool for a future young lion to take on Tiger Mask V and maybe even a Thunder Liger 2. Hell bring back Tiger Mask W!

Both Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger were direct anime characters brought to life and became two of the most legendary jrs. of ever, with TM breeding several successors. I don't know if it's egos, IP issues, or what. But it's a missed opportunity for companies to not have this element.

Interesting point Strig turned into at the beginning discussion about Hayabusa. Why's there a lack of new masked gimmicks/wrestlers in major companies compared to the past? It feels like something that used to be a slam dunk to stardom with the mask & it's almost nonexistent now.

Totally agree on Tana being Naito’s opponent and it will forever be stupid that they didn’t do a world title match in the dome main event. Heck they could have done multiple dome main events together. Hoping for a CMLL & Noah run 🤞
