RIP Ted Turner. An absolute legend whose contributions to film and television cannot be understated. Cartoon Network and Boomerang fueled my love for animation while TCM, TBS, and TNT fueled my love for film as a kid, as well as my passion and pursuit of it now. Thanks Ted.

In an age where school shootings happen on a regular basis, why would you remove these kids only lifeline? How does this keep them safe? If push comes to shove, they can't call for help or let their families know what's happening or if they're safe. It's dangerously stupid.

When I was in high school, up until junior year, you weren't allowed to have your phone on you. It had to be off and in your locker. If a teacher even saw the outline of your phone in your pocket, it would get confiscated. It was dumb then, it's still dumb now. Power to the kids
