@jeremymeyers Let's say we're both right because history is tough to correctly state. Bertlesmann was indeed an investor and therefore partial owner in the original 1999 Napster which was closed in 2002. Roxio Inc. subsequently purchased the Napster brand assets.

Napster history correction: Pressplay (Universal/Sony) -> Roxio (renamed Napster) -> Best Buy -> Rhapsody -> Real Networks -> MelodyVR for a total of 6 owners in 19 years.
