What is your favorite 343/Halo Studios game?

Well, I know I promised to not touch the topic of @idSoftware and how XBOX screw them over before @QuakeCon, but I do obviously follow all info available. I see how Microsoft is trying to act like nothing unusual happend end even promote @DOOM with set of "jokes" wannabes. Really? WaDaQuak?! But this is what resonated with me during last few days, and it is exactly what I feel inside all that time. Andrew described, what makes this studio special and that after decade of preparations they collected top tier people both professionally and personally. It was visible in product we got and also at meet with the DEVs in Dallas last year. There was not a single fan leaving disappointed and there was not a single member of team, that would not give you enough time - even if my mission was to get signatures for my friend - huge DOOM fan - diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. Entirety of team acted super cool even when they found out that I didn't finished Dark Ages and gave me shoulder tap to my decision making, as I was "asked" by my wife to spend over 400hrs in @KingdomComeRPG instead. Legendary team. #SaveIDSoftware

Doom: The Dark Ages' big DLC expansion is a fun but flawed send-off to this era of the iconic shooter franchise: too much lore, not enough shooting. kotaku.com/doom-the-dark-…

id software news -Two thirds of the people who developed DOOM 2016 are gone -Many “multi-hat” devs who were integral to the team are gone -A lot of current and previous staff don’t like the comparison to the team during DOOM 2016’s development as id had just lost a lot of talent and experienced layoffs during that time -An ex-id staff said “I don't agree with Hugo's statement and many who were laid off were upset by those comments and saw it as viewing their contributions as insignificant to the success of our games” Source: @gamedevdotcom

Details from Hugo’s stream tonight -They are looking at a way to add a level replay to redo bosses and levels in Revelations -Going to give the game some time to simmer before major balance changes -Tweaks to balance might be coming based on community feedback -Some possible ideas: -Might change the ability to meathook the same enemy again and again (like the Vagary) -Changes to orbit length based on enemy strength -Likely to be added to tuneables to test out -Spear Stab damage against Archvile might be reduced -Hugo reinforces the team is now the same size as when they made DOOM 2016 and that id tech is still very much alive -Hugo provided thanks for all the support after the team layoffs -He says to play Revelations to celebrate their amazing work
