f you’re using an iPhone, you can already interact with the text inside the image through AI. We use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract text from pictures — so you can actually chat with the contentof an image. For example, when reading a book, you can take a photo of a page and then discuss or ask questions about that content directly with AI. Currently, this feature isn’t available on Android yet, but it’s coming soon — and in the future, AI will also be able to recognize and converse about what’s inside the image itself, not just the text.

@ideaShellAI Thanks for the clarification on this so after one year the accumulation process starts again. Last question, what's the use of uploading a picture in the notes?

@StefanoThinking Yes, your unused points will automatically roll over to the following month for later use. However, please note that all accumulated points remain valid for one year. 🙏

@ideaShellAI So points accumulate if not used, does the credit reset every year? Or can I bring forward all my credit over the years? 🙏

The current one isn’t up to our standards, and we’ll fix it soon. We’re also optimizing the Mac and iPad apps for iOS/macOS 26 to ensure everything feels smoother in the next update.

@illrunning @ideaShellAI I purchased the lifetime plan, the app is very user-friendly, and accessing all my notes is the feature I'm most looking forward to. Additionally, I hope the PC version's design can be optimized soon, as the current experience is quite poor.

@ideaShellAI I had a few questions. I was hoping you could answer. 1. Do you plan to release a Wear OS version for Android Watches? 2. Do you have an ETA on when the API will be released So that we can build custom integrations into tools like Tana. 3. Will there ever be an IdeaShell MCP?
