Kudos to @Deloitte for offering the "State of AI in the Enterprise" report without a reg wall. Findings? Most companies haven't started redesigning work for AI. Sovereignty is playing a big part in vendor selection. Few companies have agent governance. deloitte.com/us/en/what-we-…

Anthropic just announced the "Claude Certified Architect" program. And you can start today. In 16 years of my professional career, I haven't done a single certification. Not one. Not AWS. Not Azure. Not Google Cloud. Not PMP. Not Scrum. Not any of the alphabet soup. I learned by building. By breaking things. By shipping. But I'm about to break that streak. I'm going for my first-ever certification: Claude Certified Architect — Foundations Here's why this matters — especially if you're a developer, engineer, or any professional who feels like the AI wave is moving too fast. Claude Code launched a few weeks ago. And it feels like a paradigm shift. Not an incremental upgrade. Not another chatbot wrapper. A fundamentally different way of building software. Agentic architecture. Tool orchestration. MCP integration. Context management at a systems level. If those words sound intimidating — that's exactly why this certification exists. It covers everything from agentic orchestration to prompt engineering to Claude Code workflows. Not surface-level content. And here's what got me: It costs nothing. Free. Zero. $0. So if you've been feeling left behind... If you've been watching others ship AI agents while you're still figuring out where to start... If you've been telling yourself "I'll learn this next quarter"... This is your sign. Stop scrolling. Start building. First certification in 16 years. Let's see how this goes. In 2008, Malcolm Gladwell explained why some people succeed & some don't. This talk reveals: • Why ability is overrated • Why effort alone isn’t enough • How systems quietly decide outcomes 12 lessons from Gladwell that'll permanently change how you think about success:

🔥Listen: 1.Leverage is key – The people making 10x more in a 9-5 aren’t working harder; they’ve figured out how to amplify their efforts. 2.Distraction kills progress – Your biggest enemy is scattered focus. Mastering your mind is non-negotiable. 3.Choose your mentors wisely – Never take advice from someone who hasn’t achieved what you’re striving for. 4.No one’s coming to rescue you – Owning your life means accepting that your problems are yours to solve. 5.Action beats theory – You don’t need endless books or courses; you need self-discipline and action. 6.Sales is life-changing – Unless you’re in a technical profession like medicine or engineering, mastering sales can transform your income in months. 7.People don’t care as much as you think – Stop worrying about what others think. Take risks. Create opportunities. 8.Collaboration > Competition – When you meet someone smarter, work with them instead of trying to outdo them. 9.Cut smoking – It adds nothing to your life but steals your focus and health. 10. Comfort is the silent killer – Overindulgence in comfort leads to stagnation and unhappiness. 11.Protect your privacy – Share only what’s necessary. Less talk, more action. 12. Alcohol isn’t worth it – Losing control of yourself isn’t cool. It’s a ticket to regret. 13. High standards aren’t negotiable – Don’t settle for what’s easy or available; aim for what’s extraordinary. 14. Family is what you build – Prioritize the family you create, not the one you’re born into. 15. Detach emotionally – Mastering the art of taking nothing personally is a superpower for your mental peace.

Zimbabwe’s golden export: When our honey outshines the world Zimbabwe does not often pause to celebrate its quiet victories. Yet when international beekeepers across the globe unanimously singled out Zimbabwean honey as the finest at the 49th APIMONDIA International Apicultural Congress, the premier global beekeeping event held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in September 2025, it was a moment that demanded national recognition. This was not a diplomatic courtesy nor a marketing gimmick. It was a blind tasting of more than 50 honeys from around the world — and Zimbabwe emerged the clear standout. *International market validation of Zimbabwean organic products*. The star of the tasting bar was low-veld Litchi honey, a product of Zimbabwe’s unique ecology and largely unspoiled environments. Seasoned beekeepers, some with decades of experience, praised its rich flavour, purity and natural profile, declaring it the best honey they had sampled all day. Such endorsement represents powerful market validation from industry professionals who set quality benchmarks within the global apiculture value chain. *Leveraging natural endowments for export competitiveness*. Beyond the accolades, this achievement speaks to Zimbabwe’s comparative advantage in organic production. Zimbabwean honey is harvested from biodiverse landscapes with minimal industrial interference, using sustainable and environmentally responsible practices. In an era where consumers and regulators demand transparency, traceability and sustainability, these natural endowments position Zimbabwe favourably within premium export markets. *Responding to global demand for certified organic produce* As global consumption patterns shift toward trusted, organic and ethically sourced products, Zimbabwean honey demonstrates the country’s ability to meet evolving international standards. The success of low-veld Litchi honey illustrates that Zimbabwe can compete not on scale alone, but on differentiated quality — an approach increasingly favoured in high-value niche markets across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. *Converting recognition into trade and rural development gains*. The task ahead is to consolidate this momentum through targeted support in certification, branding, export facilitation and market access. Strengthening value-addition and integrating small-scale producers into formal export channels will ensure that international recognition translates into sustainable income growth, rural industrialisation and increased foreign currency earnings. Zimbabwe’s honey success underscores the broader potential of the country’s organic sector to contribute meaningfully to national trade and development objectives. *Economic and community impact in the Lowveld*. For Lowveld communities, honey production is more than a livelihood; it is a pathway to economic resilience and rural development. The international recognition of Zimbabwean honey has opened opportunities for better market access, higher prices, and expanded exports, directly benefiting smallholder farmers. Local cooperatives and associations are increasingly playing a role in training, certification, and collective marketing, ensuring that the success of Lowveld honey translates into tangible gains for families, schools, and wider community projects. The story of the Lowveld beekeeper is a testament to how global validation can spark local empowerment and sustainable growth. #MadeInZimbabwe @MightiJamie @ZimTradeAlerts @ZimTreasury @InfoMinZW @MoFA_ZW @Min_of_IC @DeptCommsZW @HeraldZimbabwe @ChronicleZim @enkudheni

The idea that developing countries can skip industrialization — and instead develop based on services — is fundamentally misguided. Except for very small countries, *every* country that has transformed its economy from low- to high-income has done so via manufacturing.
