@idfstef

I am NOT an IDF soldier, only a Jewish supporter. Zionism is simple—The right of the Jewish People to settle & rule their eternal homeland, Eretz Yisrael.

There is no benefits to the United States military to tie our armed forces with the IDF. None. This is for one side, and one side’s benefit only, and that is Israel. It is deeply distressing that elected members of the United States Congress will vote, overwhelmingly, for the benefit of a foreign power above that of our own country. We have never even contemplated something like this provision for our decades-long allies, like Japan, Australia, Germany, France, or Great Britain. But for a tiny country of 6 million that provides no benefit to our country? Probably something close, at least on the Republican side, to a unanimous declaration of supporting the desires of that foreign power.
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie

Unfortunately the Rule passed just now and no debate or vote was allowed on section 219, integration of US military technology and supply chains with Israel’s. The NDAA will receive a recorded vote tomorrow with section 219 in it. I’ll vote no.

An Israeli tourist in Bangkok says she was waiting at her table for her meal when she noticed a sign saying "No Israel tourist." She called for staff and offered to pay for her drink, but would like to cancel her food order. The manager came, all smiles and hospitality, and tried to convince her to stay. Finally, she admitted that she was leaving because of the sign on the door. The smiles disappeared. He asked her if she was Israeli, and when she confirmed, he began shouting. She said he demanded she pay an exorbitant price for her can of coke as he got closer in order to intimidate the woman who just wanted some food. In an instant, her humanity was stripped from her because of the location she was born. That's the reality Israelis have to face: you tell us to get out of Israel and, when we do, you make sure we know we aren't welcome.

Kan någon förklara varför Israel riskerar sina trupper på marken, varav hundratals har dött och tusentals har skadat sig, när de mer effektivt kan utföra ett ”fOlKmoRd” från luften med bomber?

Israel has never been more accepted internationally than it was before October 7th, 2023; nations like Sudan, the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco had recognized Israel via the Abraham Accords and Saudi Arabia was seemingly just about to do so as well, the Palestinian Authority is nothing more than an Israeli asset at this point, and the UN Security Council did not present a resolution condemning Israel between 2016 and 2023. Bhutan, Bahrain, Bolivia, Chad, Guinea, Kosovo, Nicaragua, and Turkey had all recognized or re-recognized Israel within the last decade. The USA, Guatemala, Honduras, Czechia, Hungary, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Kosovo and Paraguay all had official embassies in Jerusalem. South Korea had just signed Israel’s first trade agreement with an East Asian country, and even Hamas had changed its charter to accept the “idea of a two state solution”. What did this situation bring? The most right-wing government in Israeli history, and the rise of figures like Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich. There is no correlation between non-recognition of Israel and Israeli extremism. Perhaps Israelis have agency, Adam
Adam Louis-Klein@adam_louis52328

Extremism in Israel would be reduced if other nations accepted the right of Israelis to live in their indigenous lands—reducing the sense of threat and the felt need to resort to violence. In other words, if antizionism were dismantled.

The Irish have completely lost their minds over Jews and Israel. Everything they believe about Israel is false. They endlessly parrot the genocide and apartheid lies, and with such certainty and ferocity, when they know absolutely nothing about the conflict or the region. It is wilful gross ignorance at this point, and a severe mental illness. No doubt about it.

The people still crying about a non-existent plan for a greater Israel (too bad, would be great) are still ignoring the largest colonial enterprise that exists today - Islam's occupation of North Africa, South East Asia & every middle eastern country outside the arabian peninsula

Enough with this stupid “famine” garbage. The only people and entities who perpetrated starvation against the Gazans were the UNITED NATIONS. Israel delivered the aid. In fact, Israel delivered enough aid to feed every single Gazan twice over, for a year. But the UN REFUSED to distribute it because all they wanted was to manufacture a false narrative for publicity against Israel. The UN must be abolished if there is even a glimmer of chance for peace.

@RepThomasMassie @HouseGOP We send 86 billion to 180 different countries. They all splurge with our money. Shouldn't have spent so much time hating on Israel instead of being honest about all the others getting money. You're toxic now and no one will work with you. You did it to yourself.

I honestly couldn’t help but laugh at the irony. A church founded by a king because he wanted a divorce, not because of a new religious doctrine or theological principle, in a country that built one of history’s largest colonial empires, now declares Israel to be a “racist colonial enterprise.” The irony is extraordinary. This is not simply a political statement. It recycles centuries-old Christian anti-Jewish narratives, replacing the ancient accusation of deicide with the fashionable language of the 21st century. History matters. The British Empire played a central role in colonial expansion across the globe. Christian empires, alongside later Islamic empires, were responsible for vast territorial conquest, colonization, slavery, forced conversions, and the subjugation of indigenous peoples on an immense scale. Yet somehow, it is the Jewish people’s return to their ancestral homeland that is singled out as the defining example of colonialism. Criticism of Israeli government policies is legitimate. Singling out the world’s only Jewish state as uniquely illegitimate, uniquely colonial, or uniquely racist, while ignoring history and applying standards that are not applied to other nations, deserves to be challenged. If this is truly about human rights, then those standards should be universal. If they are reserved almost exclusively for Israel, people are justified in asking whether this is really about human rights at all. Contribution: Rachel Jagoda Lithow Via Jodi Samuel
